About Us

Our Vision

As a platform for alumni network, give back to the Gurukul community, by developing the institutions.

VISIONARY GURUKUL ALUMNI is a registered association of old students of government residential educational institutions in Telugu states. Initially three schools at Sarvail,Tadikonda and Kodigenahalli and a college at Nagarjuna Sagar were started mainly to provide good education to the talented students from economically and socially poor families. Now there are 1000 plus government gurukuls in Telugu states, in which about a million students are studying. The old students’ (alumni) of many of these gurukuls are trying to serve their schools. In the last decade, the availability of rapid communication enabled easy access and scale for building and sustaining the alumni network for sharing ideas, resources, talents and staying in touch among themselves and the schools. Thus, Visionary Gurukul Alumni (VGA) is created and became the platform of all the alumni of the all Gurukul Schools and Colleges in Telugu states.
